林业有害生物控制与资源利用；林业有害生物鉴定与检疫；昆虫学；昆虫系统学

三、教学工作

教学方面，先后为本科生、硕士生主讲《森林昆虫学》、《普通昆虫学》、《分子生物学》、《保护生物学》、《资源昆虫学》、《森林保护学》、《生物入侵与生物安全》等课程；培养博、硕士研究生多名；参编专著7部；指导的本科生、研究生多次获“国家级大学生创新创业训练项目”、“山西省高等学校大学生创兴创业训练计划项目”资助，指导的本科生获山西省第十三届“兴晋挑战杯”晋商银行大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛二等奖，指导本科生发表学术论文多篇。指导研究生获得中国森林保护学术大会“优秀学术报告二等奖”。
